Disney Must-Do: Wishes Nighttime Spectacular

This fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom truly is spectacular!

On our most recent trip to Walt Disney World, we found the most awesome spot from which to watch it: behind Cinderella Castle, just in front of Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Now, from this location, you don’t get the effect of Tinker Bell soaring overhead, but you can see her glide away from the top of the castle. And, from this awesome spot, the fireworks themselves are directly over your head! You look up, glancing from side to side, as one amazing explosion after another lights up the night sky!

We loved this viewing spot so much on our first night at Disney that we went back to the exact same place the following night to do it all over again. Magnificent!

Witness the spectacle of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular!

🙂 I’m sure the masses will continue to watch from in front of the castle!

Great location! I’ll have to seek it out next time. Another good one is along the walkway from Main Street to Tomorrowland…you know that little eating area that’s kind of sunk down next to the water? Perfect, uncrowded (usually) unobstructed view!

I know that walkway well… though I’ve never watched Wishes from it. We’ll have to give it a try!
