Disney Must-Do: Expedition Everest

We love Expedition Everest! The theming of the queue building is exceptional, the backstory is fantastic, and the ride itself is, well, probably my favorite roller coaster ever. This past trip was the first time that all five of us rode Expedition Everest together, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation.

The Forbidden Mountain

Looks like the Yeti has been here!

For those of you with little ones, the height requirement is 44″ or taller. And for the faint of heart, this ride is probably one to skip!

  1. Just love seeing the mountain from others parts of the park, and the queue is very impressive 🙂

My dad lost his hat on that ride…I still can’t believe he thought to leave it on his head! You know, a bunch of the artifacts that are featured along the queue were really found and brought back from Tibet — the Disney Imagineers had gone there to do research from the ride to make it as authentic as possible!

I saw that on one of the Disney Parks specials on Netflix – so very cool! And I’m so impressed that your dad likes this ride. I can’t even picture my parents going on it!

He’s an adventurer. His favorite? Mission Space — the RED version! Even I can’t do that one, makes me dizzy and nauseous.
