FastPass+ update 5

Remember that announcement Disney Parks Chairman Tom Staggs made a few weeks ago about the upcoming FastPass+ enhancements? You know, that little thing about adding a revolving fourth FastPass+ and using FastPass+ entitlements while park hopping? Well, he made another announcement today: you’ll be able to do those two things as of Monday, April 28th.

To clarify, once you use your three FastPass+ reservations that you made before your trip, you’ll be able to go to a FastPass+ kiosk in the park of your choice and make an additional FastPass+ reservation. Once you use that one, you can make another, and so on. Also, after you use your initial three FastPass+ reservations, you’ll be able to hop to another park and use your revolving fourth FastPass+ there, if you so choose. For the full story, see the Disney Parks Blog.

What I’m wondering is, do you have to actually go to a kiosk to snag those other FastPass+ reservations, or can you do it on your smartphone using the My Disney Experience app? There doesn’t seem to be an answer to this as of yet, but I’ll keep you posted!

This picture has absolutely nothing to do with FastPass+, but today would have been my Grandpa Howard's birthday, so it seemed appropriate!
