Tiffins and the Nomad Lounge

We’re just back from our latest trip to Walt Disney World, and I have so many things to share with you! Let’s start with one of my new favorites: Tiffins!

This new restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom was at the top of my must-do list for our recent vacation, and it did not disappoint! We were a bit early for our reservation, so we relaxed in the Nomad Lounge while waiting for our table. We all had delicious pre-dinner drinks. Even the boys had special non-alcoholic mock-tails!

Once our table was ready, we were led into one of the gorgeous dining rooms. All three of the dining rooms are loaded with beautiful, unique works of art. Here’s one example:

And here’s my favorite detail from our dining room:

Even the look of the menu was unique:

As for the food… we all agreed that this just may have been our favorite meal on Disney World property. Ever. I didn’t get a chance to take many food pictures, as it disappeared quickly, but here’s my entree:

Pan-seared duck breast.

I think it’s safe to say that we’ll be visiting Tiffins again! Have you been to Tiffins or the Nomad Lounge? What did you think?

Haven’t visited yet! Do they have a lot of regular food for those who are not too adventurous or not too into spices?

I wouldn’t say “a lot,” but even our pickiest eater found something he loved! You can always ask for sauces, etc, on the side. And nothing we tried was overly-spicy. Give it a try! 🙂

We might do that! Next trip we already have reservations for Tusker House but if we end up doing two days at Animal Kingdom, we will probably try Tiffins.
